Platform: Windows, XBox 360, PlayStation 3
Genre: First-Person Shooter
Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
Developer: Splash Damage
Notes: Players have the option of customizing their characters to alter their appearance, including the application of several facial and body tattoos. Once tattoos are applied to the character, they cannot be temporarily removed, only deleted. Rather than being eligible for tattoos as a sign of rank or progress within the game, all of them are unlocked immediately - and they span several global cultures.
One thing this game does have going for it is that it refers to the Māori tattoos as Kirituhi, not Tā Moko or Moko Kauae. These are probably also the most elaborately detailed - so presumably, researched - Māori tattoo I’ve encountered in a game setting thus far.
